She is beautiful,
bubbly, rooted, always smiling and carries some kind of happiness wherever she
goes. I have known her from my days of BMM , even when we did not know each
other very well, a smile always was exchanged and then eventually we became friends. We had
a common thread between us,Acting. She is following her dreams and has already
started climbing the ladder of success. Let’s Talk Life with “Kumkum Bhagya”
fame and an actress of various Marathi movies, Mrunal Thakur, where she talks
about her journey as an actor and a BMM student, how she managed both the
aspects beautifully and what she wants to convey to the aspiring actors.
- Tell us about your journey from a BMM student to an Actor?
Today when I move out I see youngsters choosing various streams to
make a mark in their career and the support they
get from their parents is something I really appreciate, as it becomes a
motivating factor for the children choosing the field they like.
Initially it used to be like parents used to put so
much pressure on their kids that you have to opt for medical or engineering. Belonging
from a typical maharashtrian family same thing happened
with me but I somehow convinced my parents that opting for BMM would help me
explore myself and expose me to various opportunities.
Attending college plus giving auditions was difficult. Alot of my friends said don't exert so much but I never stopped since acting was my passion and more than anything and everything I wanted to prove myself.
I got my first serial “Khaamoshiyan” during BMM and after my graduation I started getting offers for serials and movies. I did couple of Marathi movies and currently doing Zee TV’s “Kumkum Bhagya” and some upcoming Marathi movies.

- What is your "Nothing is Impossible Moment"
It was when I got my first serial on Star Plus, and from then there is no looking back :)
- What would you like to convey to aspiring actors?
For all the aspiring actors I just want to tell them is that you must have patience because in this field you really have to wait and have complete faith within yourself.
